Dump Truck Driver/Crew Member

Full job description


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This position primarily involves operating a company owned dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites. When driving duties are not required, the driver will assist the crew with general labor tasks to support daily operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and safety standards
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Work overtime as required
  • Safely operate a dump truck to haul materials and strap down equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck
  • Assist crew members with general labor tasks as needed (shoveling, site cleanup, basic equipment support, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members


Skills:


  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with trailer and air brake endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Previous dump truck or heavy equipment experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various conditions
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
